Minecraft pocket edition reveiw

Minecraft PE is a fun game for android and iOS. Its not exactly like the PC version but the creator keeps updating it and adding more features. Its a really simple game. All you do is place blocks to build anything you can think of. There are three different game modes creative, survival, and peaceful. In creative you get an unlimited amount of blocks and there isn’t any mobs and you can’t die. In survival you start off with nothing and have to mine to get the blocks and create other blocks with certain things. You also have to fight mobs and eat food to gain life. Peaceful is just like survival but it doesn’t have mobs. Mobs are pigs, cows, sheep, chicken, zombies, creepers, skeletons, spiders, and zombie pigmen. You can play multiplayer on your local wifi network but not around the world. The app does cost $6.99 but i think its worth it because they keep updating it and it’ll continue to get better.

How to jailbreak IOS 6 and 5.1.1

Its really easy and simple to jailbreak your idevice. You’ll need a pc or Mac with redsnow. IOS 6 is only a tethered jailbreak which means every time you turn your device off or reboot it or let it die you need to plug it back into your computer and use redsnow to reboot it. I have a blog on how to downgrade from IOS 6 to 5.1.1 if you want a untethered jailbreak. If your still on IOS 5.1.1 then you can jailbreak untethered and that means you don’t need a computer to reboot it. Jailbreaking is simple all you need to do is hit the jailbreak button on redsnow then follow the on screen instructions.

How to downgrade iOS 6 to 5.1.1

So a few weeks ago I updated my iPod touch 4th gen to IOS 6 and that’s the worse firmware update ever. I made a review about it on my blog you should check it out here. Since it was such a bad update I decided to go back to IOS 5.1.1. It’s really easy and simple, all you need is a mac or pc with redsnow. Here are the steps to do it

• Download redsnow to your mac or pc

• Download the firmware you need from here (use the second download bar)

• Plug in your ipod, iphone, or ipad

• Open redsnow

• Extras

• Even more

• Restore

• IPSW then find the firmware that you downloaded earlier

• Then get your shsh blobs from cydia. Hit the remote button to do that

• Then follow the rest of the instruction on redsnow

Now that you downgraded back to IOS 5.1.1 you might want to jailbreak it and here’s a blog about doing that.

IOS 6 on iPod touch 4

Apple’s new IOS 6 update is probably the worst update ever. I just updated probably two weeks ago and it was a horrible dissension. I have the 4th gen iPod touch 32GB. The new App Store is so slow and never wants to load for me. I still have to type my password in for free apps and when I update apps. I heard apples new map apps is terrible. I haven’t really tried it so I don’t really know about that. My iPod just felt so slow after the update. I think apple does that so then people will think they need a new iPod. I use to love apple products and think they were the best but now android phones and tablets are looking a lot better. I do like that they added privacy settings and photo sharing with iCloud. They also added a do not disturb toggle but they placed it in the wrong area, it should of been in notification center it makes more sense there. I haven’t been able to use passbook but it sounds like a good idea and I guess that’s apples answer to NFC? I think apple is losing its creativity.

Nexus 7

The nexus 7 is a great tablet! If you never had a tablet and are looking for one this is a great cheap tablet. It’s a 7 inch tablet and it only weighs 340g. It either comes with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage (actual formatted capacity will be less because of the apps that come with it). It has 1 GB of RAM and a nvidia tegra 3 quad-core processor. The nexus 7 has androids latest firmware 4.2 jelly bean. It also has a 4,325 mAh battery, accelerometer, GPS, gyroscope, microphone, and magnetometer. It only has a front facing camera 1.2MP. It has wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, and you can even get it with a mobile data plan. The tablet starts off at $199.00 for wi-fi only and has 16GB of storage.
My opinion on this tablet is that it’s a great tablet for anyone. I love playing games on it, watching movies, and looking stuff up on the web browser. It’s fast light and a lot of fun to use. Things I don’t like about it. It only has a front facing camera and no SD card slot but there are other ways to get more storage for it.
